On Saturday President Donald trump announced he has plans to announce major tax cuts for the middle class just before the midterms. This will surely have a massive effect on on the 2018 November midterms, which are just weeks away.
“We are looking at putting in a very major tax cut for middle-income people. And if we do that it’ll be sometime just prior, I would say, to November,” Trump announced during a rally in Nevada on Saturday. The crowd, as expected, went crazy. “We are studying very deeply right now round the clock a major tax cut for middle income people.”
The Democrats have been complaining Trump’s signature achievement, the tax cut, only helped large companies and the top one percent. Trump did this to spur on the economy, and it’s worked like magic. Trump said Saturday the tax cuts his staff is studying deeply will not have anything to do with businesses, and will only help the middle class.
“Kevin Brady is working on it, Paul Ryan is working on it,” said Trump. “I would say sometime around the first of November, maybe a little before then.”
With this announcement alone President Trump has just run the 2018 midterms for the Republican party.
