Earlier this week the Federal Government released it’s climate change report, which was explained by Sarah Huckabee Sanders explained was “not based on facts”. A rouge faction of the United States government now directly opposes the President. The President, who goes by his gut, has told the public multiple times he does not believe in climate change.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders has wisely limited the number of press conferences she is putting on, because the mainstream media tends to distort the truth and post their side of the story. However, during a press conference yesterday she said “The president is certainly leading on what matters most in this process and that’s on having clean air and clean water. In fact, the United States continues to be a leader on that front.”
But Sarah Huckabee Sanders didn’t stop there.
“Even Obama’s undersecretary for science didn’t believe the radical conclusions of the report that was released,” she said. “You have to look at the fact that this report is based on the most extreme modeled scenario which contradicts long-established trends. Modeling the climate is an extremely complicated science that is never exact.”
The report was obviously not data driven.
The National Climate Assessment is required by Congress and was way off base telling wild stories about the effects of global warming, and how it might potentially affect infrastructure and public health. Trump downloaded the entire report, saying he doesn’t believe the report and has little faith in the U.S. Government to produce such a report.
“I’ve seen it, I’ve read some of it, and it’s fine,” he said outside the White House. “I don’t believe it.”
