Mueller Investigation Denies Rumors About Buzzfeed’s Sensational Story

The past few days has caught a small little known so called news organization called Buzzfeed was caught in a major fake news story when editor Ben Smith and reporter Anthony Cormier reported a story that they had proof where the leader of the free world, President Trump, ordered his former attorney to lie under oath to Congress. Oddly enough they failed to provide any proof other than saying they “saw evidence” without giving any details.

The Mueller investigation, which is usually tight lipped, quickly dismissed the accusations as being false.  “BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate,” spokesman Peter Carr said in an  earlier statement.

Much to everyone’s surprised, Buzzfeed is sticking to it’s story.“I have further confirmation that this is right. We are being told to stand our ground. Our reporting is going to be borne out to be  accurate, and we’re 100 percent behind it,” Cormier told a reporter at CNN. He went on to say “The same sources that we used in the story are standing behind it and so are we”.

The entire time Buzzfeed continued to support their story, the Special Counsel’s Office continues to deny any truth to these unfounded rumors. Buzzfeed continues to refuse to reveal any of it’s sources, or offer up any proof of their unfounded claims.

Of course Democrats were jumping for joy and quickly started demanding investigations, even though these rumors have no evidence what so ever. “BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate,” spokesman Peter Carr said in a statement.
